Biogas Technology

Biogas typically refers to a gas produced by the biological
breakdown of organic matter in the absence of oxygen.
Biogas originates from biogenic material and is a type of bio fuel.
Environment to produce biogas requires organic waste and
organic subsidiary products.

Animal manure: Raw animal manure pollutes the nature but it
becomes a very useful fertilizer for soil after digested in
a biogas facility.

Agricultural goods: Any kind of agricultural good can be used as
raw material for biogas production. This can be energy crops or
harvest waste.

Waste of food processing industry: Waste of food processing industry
is usually chucked out or utilized as low quality animal fodder.
Biogas potential of these wastes is very high.
Biogas plant is also a reliable and sustainable solution for waste
 management in food processing industry.

Food waste: Domestic or commercial food wastes are extremely
advisable raw-materials for biogas production.
A good commercial income with very low garbage collection costs
can be obtained from these wastes by utilizing them in Biogas
plant to produce biogas.

Biofuel by-products: Since bio-ethanol and biodiesel production
increased significantly, the number and types of their by-products
increased too. By-products of bio fuel production
processes such as glycerol has very high biogas potential.

Waste water sludge: Waste water with high level polluted organic
content is usually sublimated by anaerobic digestion.
Active sludge coming from the aerobic wastewater treatment plants
can be evaluated in biogasfacilities.

Cogeneration and Trigeneration Plants:
Biogas is a clean fuel for Cogeneration  - Trigeneration plants.
Biogas can be utilized to produce electricity, heating and cooling
energy efficiently.

Income yielding key products and by-products
of an integrated biogas facility:

  • BIOGAS, can be utilized in all systems burning natural gas.
  • ELECTRIC ENERGY, that produced by cogeneration plant.
  • THERMAL ENERGY, that produced by cogeneration plant.
  • COOLING ENERGY,that produced by Trigeneration plant.
  • ORGANIC FERTILIZER, comes out in liquid and solid from
    by anaerobic digestion of biomass.
USAGE AREAS:
  • Cattle Feedlots Poultry
  • Integrated meat processing facilities
  • Food processing facilities
  • Industrial wastes withhigh organic matter content
  • Enterprises with food waste
  • Fields of organic agricultural applications
