CASE STUDY:  BEST TRANSFORMER FACTORY

We have completed the entire mechanical installation of new Factory of BEST TRANSFORMERS Inc. Factory has been constructed on 60.000 sqm open with 13.000 m2 closed production in Balikesir Organized Industrial Zone. Project was started in May 2008 and was completed on turnkey basis in November 2009
 
  • Our main goal when starting to work was to be driving the investment, being creative and solution bringing main contractor, during the first phases of the Project, in the first project coordination meetings we have seen that we can reach our goal.
  • At any time the other sub-contractors having difficulties, our engineers was in charge there to support them and carry solutions for BEST INC
  •  In the integration of project (construction – steel – electric, etc) GEO, with its most rational solutions, always had other teams to work with a “team spirit and power”
  • GEO always developed engineering solutions and installation alternatives in foreign companies’ all projects and installations. These works led us various international collaborations.
  • With our renewable energy solutions in their administration building (PV solar modules, sun tracking systems, wind turbines) the factory realized significant energy savings.
  • To maximize profit of production, we have organized “Mechanical Project Plan” like production will gradually establish. In this way, the factory which officially opened in September 2009, started production in March 2009.

  • We did all the tests required by each system and received approvals from relevant authorities.
  • We commissioned each system and equipment with their qualified personnel.
  • We trained factory’s maintenance team for each system separately.
  • We drawn as-built projects for each system and put them at the points of application.
  • We did frameworks of maintenance instructions for each system and put them at the points of applications.
  • When all our work is done, we have delivered the job finishing file to the technical director of the factory and carried customer satisfaction at the highest level.
